Happy Father's Day

I know this blog is supposed to be about my experiences in PA school, but sometimes there are other things I might want to talk about.  Sue me.

I got a very sweet and very undeserved gift from Becky and the kids this week.  They sent me a ranger cookie kit so I could make some fresh ranger cookies!  Now, I should let you know that I'm really not a big cookie eater.  I've always been a salty kind of guy.  Sweets just aren't my thing...except for Becky's famous ranger cookies.  I've been known to eat dozens upon dozens of these things.  Knowing that, she packed all the ingredients in ziplock bags.  All I had to do was add butter and an egg and mix it all together.

You'll notice that I'm mixing the ingredients in a stew pot and using a fork to do it.  We work with the tools we have available...right?  I had to go buy a cookie sheet just to make these things.

Man were they good.  I ate a few with lunch today and will certainly eat more for dinner...and midnight snack...and breakfast tomorrow.  Trust me, they're that good.
