Minutia

So, who knew there would be so much to do just to go to school?

Here is a list of things that I have done to date.

- Graduate
- Take the GRE
- Fill out centralized application for schools as well as 10 additional supplemental applications
- Stress about getting invitations for interviews
- Travel to schools for interviews
- Stress about interviews
- Choose the school where I will spend the next two years of my life and a significant amount of money
- Wait
- Wait
- Wait
- Start on checklist of preparations that finally comes from Florida
- Send in more transcripts to UF
- Exchange numerous emails with UF information systems to try and change my username (which doubles as my email address) to something a little more professional than "shakenbake83"
- Re-certify for BLS/CPR so that my certification will last through school
- Go to Employee Health to get my immunization records. Find out that they didn't ever test me to see if I was immune to chickenpox. Get my blood drawn and tested. Find out they can't do a TB test on me unless I'm a new employee. Try and get Employee Health to stamp my immunization record form, because UF won't accept a form without an "official stamp" from the hospital. Problem is, Employee Health doesn't have an official stamp. Neither does my unit, HR, or Medical Records. Luckily, I was able to find a secretary in Administration that had a return address stamp that will just have to do.
- Go to the County Health department to get my TB test
- Fax all my records to UF Health Center and PA program secretary
- Update resume and send off to program secretary.

Here is a small list of things that will have to be done once I get to Florida

- Change car title to Florida
- Register car
- Get FL drivers license
- Open bank account at a Florida bank
- Get health insurance
- Probably about a hundred other things that I haven't even thought of yet

Yep, lots to do.
